Study of practices in
the insurance sector
In recent years, the outsourcing of activities in the insurance sector has grown significantly, with major implications in terms of operational and compliance risks. Delegated management has gradually become a strategic issue for insurers. What are the main activities delegated by insurers, provident institutions and mutual insurers? How mature are the systems for monitoring subcontractors? What resources are allocated to monitoring subcontractors? To answer these questions, we conducted a national survey of the insurance market in 2023, in collaboration with KPMG.
